Structural Programme Coordinator

**Job Advert Summary**:
**Purpose of the position**:
The purpose of this job is to engage the community stakeholders and leaders, gain entry into schools and institutions of higher learning, provide supervision to facilitators and facilitate mobilisation for the structural programmes. (This is a contract position renewable based on funding)
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Grade 12 / matric
- 3 years degree/diploma in health-related field/social work
- Certified facilitator and beneficiary of PPPrev program is advantageous
- 2 years’ experience working in the community or completed the THC skills building programme
- 2 years supervision experience
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in English and isiZulu
- Valid driver’s licence
- Clear criminal record
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Engage the community stakeholders, leadership and gate keepers on the structural programmes to get their buy-in
- Introduce structural programmes and obtain entry in schools and institutions of higher learning
- Provide training on structural programmes followed with mentorship and coaching
- Assist in creating program work plans
- Conduct monthly quality assurance assessments using standardized tools
- Provide supportive supervision and in-service training where gaps are identified
- Supports the team in assessing the needs of youth in relation to HIV prevention, linkage to care and adherence to treatment and implements effective support strategies
- Records and maintains accurate and detailed information and keeps statistics in order to submit as required
- Networks with all relevant stakeholders and implements an effective referral system to ensure effective service delivery
- Lobbies and advocates for youth in relation to HIV, gender and related issues
- Attends training and workshops as part of staff development and provide feedback
- Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Submits monthly reports to the supervisor
