Product Porfolio Manager

**The role**:
As a Product Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for the vision and value realization of the managed portfolio as well as aligning multiple strategies across business units to achieve organizational goals whilst leading multiple teams to execute the agreed strategy.
This role is vital in supporting continued growth, successful delivery, improving efficiencies, and building strong relationships between product teams and the wider business.
**What you’ll do**:
**Talent Management**
- Ensure team members are equipped with the requisite skill set required for both current and future projects by facilitating a training and career development plan for each team member.
- Provide and facilitate mentoring and coaching by driving knowledge sharing.
- Succession planning and key man reliance - ensuring the right people are in the right roles and being developed accordingly, ensuring business continuity through minimizing key man reliance.
- Talent Acquisition - ensuring you are committed to hiring the best quality people for optimal achievement of results.
**Strategy, Objectives & Execution**
- Feed into organizational goals by representing the product portfolio at the Senior Leadership level.
- Engages with peers and executives across the organization to influence strategy.
- Plays a key role in influencing strategic discussions with intelligence around operational limitations, potential areas of opportunity, industry norms, and trends.
- Consistently communicates, monitors, and reviews fulfillment of strategic plans and takes corrective action to keep plans on track considering new challenges.
- Sets and achieves efficiency and delivery objectives of their team by ensuring individual, team strategy & objectives are clear, measurable & aligned with organizational goals.
- Create, agree, and deliver product roadmaps & operational strategies for Products and Project delivery.
- Build effective customer-centric Relationships via engagement and involvement with customers and create clear visibility through strategies and roadmaps.
- Measurement of performance, usage & benchmarking to ensure effective utilization of products and services relative to benchmarks.
- Hold team accountable through roadmaps, and individual performance contracts through consistent communication of delivery milestones.
- Accountable for articulating, monitoring, reporting & achieving benefit realization.
- Tracking and monitoring of product performance to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Drive innovation - new features, game performance.
- Game feature parity with studios and competition.
**Practical Execution Management**
- Translates medium or long-term Business Goals into measurable results, milestones, and timescales (able to plan execution from concept to implementation).
- Demonstrates sound planning and logical, systematic thinking.
- Consults with key stakeholders to develop plans and projects with an awareness of future needs.
- Skilled at developing contingency plans.
- Monitors work progress, time, use of resources, and budgets.
- Prioritizes demands and workload to make efficient use of resources.
**What we’re looking for?**
- A minimum of 10 year’s experience in software development, in a complex high-performance software environment.
- 5+ years of Leadership and management experience within a software development environment.
- 3+ years of experience in the gaming industry will be advantageous.
