Our small to medium sized audit client is seeking an **Audit Manager** to join them in Durbanville.

**Salary**: R25 000 - R35 000 per Month

**Requirements**:

- Completed SAICA clerkship
- ± 3 years additional experience after completion of clerkship;
- High technical proficiency (IFRS for SME, Companies Act, International Auditing Standard and Tax Laws);
- Excellent knowledge and experience in CaseWare;
- MS Excel and MS Word literacy at an advanced level;
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritize duties;
- Pro-active and self-motivated with a passion for accounting / auditing;
- Must be able to demonstrate personal and time management in order to meet deadlines;
- Must be proficient in Afrikaans and English;
- Own transport and driver's license - it will be necessary to travel to clients at times;
- Preferably reside in the Northern Suburbs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management and execution of audit, review and compilation appointments from start to finish in terms of applicable standards;
- Take responsibility for ensuring that audit quality and risk management are adhered to in the marking process;
- Marking of audit, review and compilation files and feedback to the directors;
- Guidance, supervision and assembly of audit staff and projects at clients or in the office;
- Managing a portfolio of clients;
- Direct liaison with the client regarding appointment related matters;
- Training of trainee accountants and the management of SAICA trainee accountants with regard to the SAICA assessment process on a timely basis.

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durbanville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- after completion of clerkship: 3 years (required)
