The Visual Project Lead for South Africa will contribute to a great customer experience by ensuring excellent visual presentation on each project at the implementation stage within our market and an inspirational and commercial store experience by securing all relevant visual guidelines and commercial information.

The person needs to have strong Project Management skills to drive communication & collaboration cross-functionally. With strong presentation skills to inspire and communicate at different levels. Needs to be able to support others through coaching & feedback. Investing time in others for their growth.

This position is based in Cape Town, at the Support Office within part of our Visual Team, and reports to the Head of Visual.

**Core Responsibilities include but is not limited to**:
Implement Visual strategy for projects

Plan, prepare and organize the implementation of all portfolio
Optimization projects
Set implementation plan for all store projects, together with relevant functions and area teams.

Preparation for store projects

Support with preparation material needed for Expansion & Regional/Market Portfolio
Space Optimization Projects
Provide Layout Support & updates for selected projects including Space Optimizations Projects initiated from region, business unit, retail space or sales market focused on interior updates/upgrades, concept changes & developments or density related
Coordinate & lead Project Input by providing feedback on layouts to Group Store Design alongside Project Merchandiser.
Project lead each project ensuring excellent communication, collaboration cross-functionally to enable the excellent visual presentation

Drive implementation of store projects

Plan, prepare and organize implementation of any store project (rebuild, closings, openings, space opt)
Provide support and manpower needed for implementation based on the scope
Information and communication
Together with relevant functions, clearly communicate project and timeline with area and store teams
Together with relevant functions have the planning and overview of the ordering and delivery of relevant materials for store openings & rebuild

Develop the Visual level

Support and follow-up implementation of any store projects on-site in collaboration with area team.
Ensure the highest possible visual standards when implementing all project types
Support area teams with the implementation of changes/concept set-up/interior upgrades

**We believe that you have the following qualifications**:
Formal education in interior design or similar
Strong knowledge of visual routines, and best practices
Adequate working experience and track record in layout design, and space optimization in the retail or relevant industry.
Good knowledge of layout best practices/methods, HU tools, and different interior programs. (AutoCAD etc.)
Experience working in an executional, cross functional role collaborating with multiple teams.
