**Job Advert Summary**: The successful incumbent will ensure that allocated plant is kept in a safe and reliable standard as required by Rand water.
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or a complete N3 in Fitting and Turning - 1 year relevant experience in fitting and tuning - A valid Code B driver’s license and ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 test.

**Primary Duties**:

- Planned maintenance - Do all daily, monthly and annual scheduled maintenance tasks
- Investigate and repair all breakdowns
- To work overtime when it is required
- Maintaining work standards and ensuring legal and safety compliance
- Plan tasks to ensure that all material, tools, assistants, transport and equipment’s are available
- Coordination of projects
- Determine and give input regarding site requirements
- Do regular site inspections
- Attend site visits
- Maintenance planning system
- Reporting and analysis of section performance data
- Partake in formal RCM program
- Partake in formal RCA sessions
- Partake in shutdown planning
