Join our dynamic team at DIESEL-ELECTRIC, a leading automotive wholesaler committed to providing exceptional service to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to fill the role of Warehouse General Worker at our Parow Branch. As a Warehouse General Worker your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient operations of our warehouse by accurately picking, packing automotive products.

Responsibilities but not limited to
- Select items from stock based on order specifications and carefully pack them for shipment.
- Inspect products for quality standards and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of goods.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to achieve collective goals and meet customer demands.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and adhere to all safety guidelines.

Competencies Required:

- Matric
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, with the ability to understand and communicate effectively in both languages.
- Demonstrated willingness to collaborate and assist colleagues, including suppliers, transporters, sales staff, managers, and procurement teams.
- Possess physical fitness for tasks that involve standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail, ensuring precision in tasks such as picking and packing.
- Ability to work well independently, showing initiative and self-motivation.
- Focus on identifying and solving challenges efficiently to contribute to a seamless workflow.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with diverse individuals and teams.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and responsibilities.
- Must be able to count and demonstrate strong numerical abilities.
