**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Create Nesting Layouts**: Use our software to optimize material use and minimize waste.
- **CNC Programming**: Develop accurate CNC programs for laser cutting machines.
- **Optimize Materials**: Analyze designs for the best material yield and cutting efficiency.
- **File Management**: Handle design files (DXF, DWG) and ensure proper job setup.
- **Collaborate**: Work with production and design teams to meet project requirements.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all programs meet tolerance and quality standards.
- **Troubleshoot**: Resolve issues with nesting or programming during production.
- **Document**: Keep accurate records of programs and material usage.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Experience: 2-3 years in CNC programming or nesting for laser cutting.
- Software: Proficient in nesting software (Metalix, SigmaNEST) and CAD/CAM tools.
- Material Knowledge: Familiar with steel, aluminum, copper, and more.
- Detail-Oriented: High accuracy in layouts and programming.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills.
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Willingness to work in a hands-on environment
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
