**Job Purpose**:
To provide clerical support to the Safety Department of Occupational Health and Safety Unit.

This post reports to MANAGER (SAFETY & RISK )

**Key Responsibility Areas**:
Providing clerical support in the Safety Department.

Maintaining the filing system for the Safety Department.

Maintain the departmental stocks of stationery, issue and record usage and replenish when
necessary.

Keep proper account of all departmental operations reports.

Co-ordinating of the department operational meetings.

Control the issue of all shared equipment.

Administering of all departmental assets.

Responsible for departmental mail distribution.

Preparation and maintaining of safety practitioners schedules.

Undertake related duties which may be assigned by the manager.

**Essential Requirements**:
Matric/Grade 12.

12 Months relevant experience.

**Preferred Requirements**:
Matric/Grade 12 plus relevant certificate accredited by SAQA.

18 Months relevant experience.
