**Responsibilities**: - Lead the Reporting and control agenda for the Bokomo Botswana to ensure accurate and timely management accounts on a periodic, quarterly and annual basis - Work closely with integration team and ensure the reporting integration of Botwana is completed seamlessly, specifically from a PEP reporting requirements perspective. - Deliver high quality financial information on an accelerated basis to support PepsiCo’s SEC filing requirements - Ensure appropriate SAP set-up to ensure mapping of Botswana chart of accounts set-up to HFM chart of accounts set-up to achieve both IFRS and US GAAP reporting and system automation to deliver functional US GAAP reporting. - Address and account for US GAAP differences in terms of SAP set-up,chart of accounts maintenance, Policy difference both for US GAAP as well as IFRS - Capture and measure integration costs - Set up the PEP reporting process of financial representation letter process, Pre close, BAIC ensuring all reportable issues are disclosed and communicated to the leadership team and Corporate management - Work with the Reporting Head on ATC project to deliver accelerated close for the Botswana MU - Lead the preparation of the balance sheet review deck for the Botswana MU for review with the Reporting Head - Ensure the effectiveness, efficiency and integrity of financial and operating processes, including strong SOx and GCS pass rates, and champions the implementation of control related initiatives (e.g. Application controls, Functional Risk Assessments, ECO) by facilitating, leading, monitoring, and reporting on progress - Support Botswana FR GCS compliance activities, including supporting the GCS assessment and GCS cycle; leading the control execution and remediation within the MU - Serve as contact for external auditors for the local statutory audit - Liaison will local authorities related to statutory and other business matters - Develop talent and capability within the MU team and with close stakeholders - Motivate, coach and lead direct as well as matrix report(s) to achieve highest standards of excellence Qualifications: - Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance and Control - Chartered Accountant with excellence in accounting academically - Mastery of PepsiCo Financial Reporting Processes and requirements - Understanding of end-to-end process, systems and data flows across organization. - Ability to drive change effectively at different levels throughout the organization - Strong communication skills in English a must - Demonstrates high integrity in financial controller management and the flexibility needed to work effectively in a matrix organization - Executive level communication skills to facilitate interaction with Sector management and stakeholders, including Controllers, CFOs, and reporting teams - Ability to manage multiple tasks - Strong people skills (delegation, coaching, feedback) essential to work effectively with direct reports and develop them as future Functional leaders **Essential** - Strong communication skills and ability to interact with Process stakeholders with different levels - including LG1 to LG4 executives, seniority and cultural savviness and agility - Strong problem solving, analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks - Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives; focus on details, structured **“PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
