A Nathi Sound is a music and audio post-production studio, based in Sandton, Johannesburg, seeking a junior producer to join our dynamic team. This position offers invaluable training in the role as producer but requires hard work and dedication
As a junior producer your primary function will be to alleviate pressure off of our head of production by handling administrative work and any other tasks that may be required of you.
Whilst working alongside our head of production you will be learning the following, but certainly not limited to:
Managing front of house and studio operations, ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest standards.
Handling jobs and associated operational tasks to ensure customer satisfaction.
Building strong relationships with clients.

**Financial management**:
Preparation of quotes/cost estimates to clients.
Sending invoices/statements to clients.
Ensuring suppliers and client invoices are paid timeously.
Oversee cashflow management.

**Operations management**:
Management of studio bookings.
Tracking job data such as incoming jobs, cost to company hours, income, expenses, etc.
Tracking of music submissions to SAMRO.

**Production and account management**:
Managing and supporting the team as needed.
Communication is key.
Managing client relationships and accounts.
Understanding job requirements and defining the job organisation, schedules and plans to ensure successful delivery.
Ensuring clients provide all necessary information for the job.
Briefing the team.
Managing external suppliers, including handling service agreements, invoices, etc.

**Required**:
Matric certificate.
Tertiary education.
Education in production or a similar field.
Computer knowledge and experience, including Google Workspace, Excel and Word.

**Skill set**:

Social media savvy - not afraid of the limelight, interacting with trendsetters and making posts on the go.
Attention to detail.
Efficiency and proactive - able to produce significant output with mínimal wasted effort.
Flexibility/adaptability - adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
Problem solver - identify problems and provide solutions.
Tough skin - able to deal with difficult clients and remain calm under pressure.
Proven ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment.

**Note**: six months probation period is required.
