Lead Generation and Social Media Specialist

AUTO24, the fastest growing certified pre-owned marketplace for cars in Africa, is seeking a Social Media and CRM Specialist to join their new team in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communication Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing and communication strategies to increase brand awareness and promote the company's products and services.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ad creation: Write detailed descriptions with attractive, high-quality photos of the vehicles for sale, highlighting their features, benefits and technical specifications.
- Advertisement management: Manage the database of vehicles available for sale. Update information on prices, promotions and vehicle availability. Ensure that all ads are accurate, up-to-date and in line with the requirements of websites and social networks.
- Ad distribution: Publish ads on websites specializing in car sales, online classifieds platforms, as well as on relevant social networks. Use targeting and paid promotion features to reach a specific audience.
- Performance analysis: Track and analyze ad performance in terms of views, clicks and conversions. Identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Use analytical tools to evaluate campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Internal collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent communication and messaging. Coordinate with sales team to ensure ads meet customer needs and expectations. Collaborate with the customer support team to respond to questions and requests from prospects interested in the ads.
- Competitive intelligence: Monitor competitor ads and online automotive market trends. Identify best practices and opportunities to improve ad visibility and performance.
**Requirements**:
- 3 to 5 years experience in Digital Marketing or Growth Hacking in a fast-paced B2C environment
- Good command of Marketing automation and CRM tools
- Car lover and good knowledge of the automotive industry ideally.
- Mastery of IT and online publishing tools (CMS)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- University degree in a relevant field (marketing, communications, sales, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Strong writing skills and ability to create compelling descriptions.
- Familiarity with social networks and online classified ad platforms.
- Ability to analyze and monitor ad performance.
- Organizational skills and thoroughness;
- Proficiency in office automation tools (G Suite in particular);
- Dynamic, proactive and inquisitive are qualities you are known for, as well as being very open-minded;
- Autonomy doesn't scare you;
- Experience in the automotive industry or in an administrative department is a plus;
- You like a challenge, you like to surpass yourself, and you don't see objectives as something to be achieved, but as something to be surpassed;
- You have unquestionable interpersonal skills on the telephone, an appetite for the automotive sector and a start-up mindset;
