Our client in the Steel fabrication sector is looking to fill the position of an Expeditor reporting to the Procurement Manager and Operations Manager.

**How role contributes to the purpose of the business**
- Work together with the production staff, sub contractors and suppliers to ensure the required project deadlines are met with the cirewct required quality requirements.
- Expeduate proactively against delivery dates in the open orders report.
- Report accurately and plan proactively in the weekly Expediting meetings.
- At all time maintain a good working relationship with clients.
- Achieving on time, in full, always safety.

**Top three outcomes of role**
- Project delivery are met (ON TIME) and production targets are achieved.
- Projects are erected (IN FULL) closed out with no site comebacks.
- Safety targets are achieved (ALWAYS SAFELY)

**Skills, knowledge, experience and talent required for role**
- Able to read drawings (excellent)
- Boiler making
- Expediting
- Grade 12
- Driver's license
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel
- Basic Strumis Training
- Expediting fundamentals
- Approximately 6 years experience in the fabrication of structural steel work, Tanks and Chutes.
- Painting and Galvanizing
- Ceramic lining and Rubber lining

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month
