Front of House Coordinator

**How you'll role**
As the Front of House Coordinator, you will work closely with the General Manager, handling reservations, coordinating events, welcoming and seating guests. Shifts are 8-hours and rotate between daytime and evening; you’ll be expected to work alternate weekends and public holidays.

**What you'll do**
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Manage reservations via Dineplan
- Welcome diners and usher them to their tables
- Respond timeously and sympathetically to any customer enquiries or complaints; escalate matters to the GM when necessary
- Liaise with the other front-of-house staff as required in order to ensure efficient and seamless service
- Assist with functions and event planning when necessary

**What you'll need**
- 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, premium restaurant venue
- Experience in a front-of-house or event coordinator position
- Be energetic and confident working independently
- Strong client service skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Take pride in your appearance and be well presented
- Ability to handle conflict in a respectful and professional manner
- Own vehicle/transport

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
