**Job description**:**The role**

We are seeking a Senior Manager, reporting to a Director within the Hedge Division of Sanne, to develop and manage the Market Data team with responsibility for ingestion of trade files, security masters, corporate actions and security masters for funds administered by Sanne Group. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all client relationships, both internal and external, are managed in line with agreed service levels and that services and delivery is of the high standards expects by clients and Sanne Group.

**Key responsibilities**
- Identify the training and development needs of the team
- Direct, motivate and Mentor team members
- Ensure service levels are maintained
- Liaise with clients and assist with any queries from internal and external parties, maintaining relationships and high level of service
- Planning and monitoring team workload and workflow
- Provide informal, on‐the‐job training for team members
- Ensure that services are provided in line with agreed SLA’s (internal and external)
- Ensure that all client queries are resolved timeously
- Conduct mandatory performance appraisals on team members and ad‐hoc reviews; and
- Maintain development plans for team members in a continuous improvement environment.
- Driving automation of information flow, including trades, pricing and corporate actions
- Participation and engagement in internal management forums, pricing and corporate actions committees
- Ensure processes and controls are documented, up to date and followed by the Market Data team

**Requirements**:**Skills / experience**
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce and/or IT
- In depth Financial Services industry experience, preferably including open-ended/hedge fund administration
- Strong proven track record of driving process automation
- Strong technical understanding of financial markets and financial instruments
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-discipline, reliability, adaptability and attention to detail
- Deadline driven
- Ability to manage a team and interact at all levels
- Understanding of tools to enable dataflow
- Fluency in VBA, SQL and programming languages a benefit
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Sharepoint
- Experience working with Bloomberg and other market data providers
- Experience working with Fund Administration systems, preferably PFS-Paxus
