Pretoria, South Africa South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) Full time

An appropriate recognised qualification at NQF Level 7 on the 10 Level NQF will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in facilities is a further requirement and more than 1 year of supervisory experience in facilities will be an added advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) (Act 85 of 1993) is required.
- The PFMA and other relevant Treasury Regulations and policies and procedures related to contract management are prerequisites.
- The incumbent must also demonstrate the following skills and attributes: project management, attention to detail, report writing, facilitation skills, problem-solving, time management and client service.

Duties : - Render the required support to facilitate client needs related to authentication services
- Undertake physical space measurements and maintain a record of as-built drawings and provide inputs to space planning.
- Facilitate condition assessments on critical infrastructure for maintenance planning and Capital Infrastructure Plans.
- Assist senior manager to review capital infrastructure requirements annually and submit a business case for capital upgrades/replacement projects.
- Administer the development of specifications for facilities Professional Services and Contractors.
- Facilitate the planning, design, execution, and successful delivery of capital projects.
- Effective building management and maintenance service.
- Monitor service provider turn-around times and performance in terms of agreed service levels.
- Ensure compliance with the Health, Safety and Environmental Standards and Regulations.
- Facilitate the planning and management of facilities services such as reception, security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and parking.
- Compile a comprehensive budget to determine and ensure that the financial requirements for the sub-unit are met.
- Facilitate implementation of the performance indicators
- Participate in workforce planning and ensure that the sub-unit is suitably staffed to meet strategic functional objectives.
