Consult is a Registered Financial Advice firm (RFA), allowing us to offer our clients product solutions of all of the major life, health, saving, investments, short term, and employee benefits providers in South Africa. We have contract with 122 product providers in total.

Role Purpose
Manage and drive the identification and development of new business initiatives and support the delivery of an excellent client experience in order to achieve business objectives.
Requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Business Management, Marketing degree, Bcom/BA Law Degree
- or Industry Related NQF 6 Qualification
- Financial Planner qualification (CFP) qualification (preferred)

**Experience**:

- 5-8 years’ experience in corporate business development/corporate client service, or financial services environment
- Experience in franchise sales (preferred)
Duties & Responsibilities

Franchise Development Manager specific responsibilities
- Relationship Management
- Engage with Franchises in a client Centric Manner.
- Act as a connection between Consult Head Office and Franchises by building close relationships with franchises.
- Assist in contributing to the Consult’s growth target.
- Growth Enabler by delivering client and Franchise Value Proposition
- Support recruitment of new franchises.
- Support the Practice Management practice by implementing tactics to develop and maximize the franchise. practice management through sound financial planning and advice.
- Ensure efficient and effective practices through financial planning and advice strategy.
- Support Vesting of new franchises and key account management.
- Governance and Monitoring
- Ensures compliance training and regular audits in conjunction with advice and license specialist.
- Ensures Risk management and Compliance processes are adhered to.
- Investigate reported willful acts of non-compliance to organisation policy and practice and report on findings.

Financial planning and advice support specific responsibilities:

- Financial Planning
- Financial Planning Tools: Involved with engagement with Elite Wealth on development and delivery to meet our expectations in terms of tech roll out or improvements.
- Handling all internal Elite Wealth queries and responses to Advisors, plus escalate development requirements accordingly.
- Involved in the Consult Financial Planning and Advice framework project with resultant accountabilities.
- Drafting or assisting in drafting financial planning and advice related communications into Consult.
- Advice Support
- Engage with new and existing franchises in adherence with service standards.
- Prepare financial needs analysis where required.
- Analyse reports to identify opportunities where client’s engagement status can be enhanced and formulate action plans to execute.
- Provide Risk advice tool design support.
- Write regular risk related article when required.
- Assist in preparing client Advice Records and conducts audits on the quality of advice given to clients.
- Handle role relevant queries and complaints and resolves them timeously.
- Handle all relevant training and workshop logistics and provides administration support.
- Provide assistance with quality audits.
