**Description**:
This is a General Management position within PSG, reporting to the Chief Executive Distribution.
- Deliver a professional and excellent quality of service to employers and members of retirement funds, in accordance with the service level agreements and annual strategic planning
- Develops and manages service excellence for the administration team
- Assists and support the employee benefits consulting team in providing professional, high-quality consulting and administrative services to clients to ensure client satisfaction, retention and expansion
- An effective and productive environment is created and maintained
- Appropriate advice on escalated risk underwriting needs is provided for clients

**Responsibilities**:

- Grow Employee Benefits assets
- Grow Employee Benefits premiums
- Stakeholder relationship management (Internal & External)
- Run an effective Employee Benefits Distribution channel within PSG Distribution including the following:

- Managing and refining a relevant and impactful Employee Benefits strategy
- Managing and growing Distribution’s profitability and margins
- Ensuring operational excellence in execution of the strategy
- Driving innovation and growth to keep Distribution competitive and relevant
- Developing talent and driving succession

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Relevant qualification such as Commercial or Financial degree
- Level Regulatory Exam (RE1 & 5)
- Excellent leadership and team management experience
- 5 years Senior to executive management experience with at least one of the larger employee benefits administrators in South Africa and knowledge of their employer and member portal functionality
- Experience and understanding of the Employee Benefit market, the advice process relating thereto combined with financial services product knowledge
- Financial and budget management
- Financial market and client segmentation knowledge and experience
