A position has become available in the Marketing Department at the Head Office, Cape Town for a Digital Media Manager.The Digital Media Manager provides support for the brand managers on all paid and organic digital media initiatives and maintains brand integrity across all digital media initiatives and communications. They are to work closely with the brand managers and larger brand teams for all digital content and campaign support to ensure the right message is delivered to the right target market at the right time and will assist with day-to-day management of all brand digital marketing budget
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Tertiary education, preferably in digital media marketing qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience in digital media marketing or related field
- Proven experience as a PPC Manager and Digital Marketing & PPC Specialist
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Well-versed in the principles of search engine marketing (SEM)
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts
- Familiarity with the core platforms (Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Google Analytics)
- Familiarity with other multiple platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc) is preferred
- Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
- Understanding of HTML CSS JavaScript and is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical thinking with strong math skills
- Creative and innovative thinker and planner
- Working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram; digital media suppliers and strategies
- Good understanding of consumer behaviour in digital environments
- Solid computer and creative skills

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- **General**:
- The Digital Media Manager is responsible for the supporting of the brand managers and larger brand teams in implementing and advising of the brands digital budgets.
- Manage SEO recommendations on company web pages and its website budgets per brand.
- Contribute to updates on company and brand social profiles
- Manage large campaign budgets to ensure spend in full and complete.
- **Customer, Market and Business Intelligence**:
- Customer insights analysis through reporting
- Help develop & document procedures to manage overall efficiencies.
- Help plan and implement social advertising campaigns for specific marketing goals
- Keeps up-to-date with best practices and new trends and tools in social media, SEO and business/industry trends.
- **Strategy Development**:
- Working with the Brand Managers and brand team in executing the implemented strategies for digital media (paid and organic) marketing.
- Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas.
- Supports brand managers in guiding creative collateral.
- **Brand Communication and Positioning**:
- Support, execution, and analysis of digital communications throughout the full consumer journey.
- Support and execute the digital aspects of digital marketing campaigns to establish and maintain good branding positioning and digital communication.
- Ensuring excellent internal business communication.
- Improving brand recognition and reputation.
- **Promotion Management**:
- In consultation with brand managers; advise and analyse brand digital marketing plans which focuses on product quality; positive brand perceptions and revenue growth.
