**Role summary**:
A private medical practice specialising in psychiatry is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to join the team in Gardens, Cape Town. The practice is run by a doctor whom you’ll be working with directly. This role is ideal for someone who works well in a two-person team, is looking for a long-term position, and gets along well with dogs.

**Responsibilities**
- Invoicing and taking payment from patients
- Assisting patients with queries
- Managing doctor’s diary
- General administrative tasks
- Managing accounts and billing to medical aids
- Protecting patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality

**Skills and Qualities**
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organisational and people skills
- Responsible, accountable, and dedicated
- Strong attention to detail
- Multi-tasker with effective time management
- Customer service experience

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role or in the medical industry
- PoPIA trained
- Dog-friendly
- Reliable transport
