**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Must have a tertiary qualification in production planning/supply chain, administration related studies
- Minimum 5 years planning experience in a chemical manufacturing plant environment would be required
- Must have good customer relationship, strong communication (verbal and written), organizational and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of the OHS Act as well as Safety, Health and Environment standards, and experience in Planning and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) are essential
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint), intermediate skills in Excel and experience in Syspro, SAP or other MRP systems in a chemical manufacturing plant environment are essential
- Must be in possession of a valid drivers license, have own reliable transport and must be medically fit to drive.
- Creating job cards in accordance with the macro plan and additional job cards that are not catered for in the macro plan to accommodate unforeseen product requirement.
- Co-ordinating with the Buyer and Commercial Managers the timings of raw materials and packaging materials requirements and supply based on macro plan.
- Liaising with external toll manufacturing customers to meet their requirements.
- Meeting with external toll manufacturing customers occasionally to improve customer service levels.
- Liaising with the Buyer regarding the expediting of certain raw materials and packaging materials when required.
- Negotiating and updating the selling prices for toll manufactured products after consulting with Commercial Manager and Supply Chain & Business Engagement Executive as well as the Manufacturing Executive.
- Arranging the outsourced packing of certain overflow volumes that the company is unable to pack internally.
- Reconciling stock and yields of outsourced packing.
- Creating stock codes on Syspro for new bulks, finished, raw and packaging material.
- Creating BOMs for new finished/saleable products.
- Compiling quotation in response to new product manufacture/packing requests.
- Setting up stockholding levels where applicable.
- Responding to enquiries from Logistics Services Controllers and Logistics Controllers with regard to product availability.
- Co -ordinating monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
