Senior PR Account Manager: Luxury Brands

Manage Campaigns From Brief to Successful Implementation and Delivery
- Manage budget, resources, and planning
- Time management
- Input ideas for new and existing brand campaigns and take ownership of their development and implementation
- Oversee the creation of communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the brand including covering all design and content (on and offline)
- Confidence to push back to client if their approach / ideas need to be challenged - demonstrate expertise
- High levels of industry knowledge - especially around trends - so you can have an opinion
- Pitching to press
- Reporting.
Demonstrate Value - Drive Results and Secure Publicity
- Create media plans and ensure consistent media coverage
- Strong pitching skills, essential to be able to secure clients quality coverage
- Analysing PR outcomes and interpreting data
- Presenting findings to clients and key stakeholders.
Proactive Approach to Managing Brands
- Manage delivery and performance: Proactive NOT reactive approach - ensuring accounts are run in this manner
- Presenting plans for the month ahead by the end of calendar month before, so clients/team are aligned
- Inspire clients by sharing trends, articles, competitor news, ideas etc - demonstrate you are on the pulse
Presentation
- Strong presentation skills (less words, carefully chosen).
Demonstrate Critical Thinking
- Think independently, find creative challenges to issues as they arise.
Assist to Grow the Accounts You Work On
- Developing current client accounts: how to generate more income/add more value.
Client Service Directives
- As contact for client accounts, build high levels of trust with clients
- Bi-monthly face to face meeting/coffee with clients
- Pick up the phone and chat to clients at least once a week (zoom or call)
- Regular electronic comms, as often as required.
Internal Input
- Providing critical/strategic business thinking - e.g. How can we do what we’re doing better / inspire our clients etc
- Bringing new expertise to the table
- Pioneering new systems/processes and driving to their successful outcome (the completion part is so important for me, or no value add)
- Inspire the team Bring exciting new ideas and opportunities to the table
- Adding more clients/exploring new revenue opportunities
- Identifying and driving growth areas within the existing business
- Have the desire to shape business growth & trajectory
- Nurturing junior talent.
**Requirements**:
- Educated to Degree level (PR qualifications not necessary but is desirable)
- At least 4 years recent experience gained work in a client service and consultancy role
- A sound understanding of the local media landscape (experience in PR and media relations is essential)
- Detailed knowledge of the celebrity and influencer landscape in the luxury lifestyle space
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft suite essential, Keynote preferable)
- Previous traditional and Digital PR agency experience
- Social Media Marketing experience - advantageous
- Established media relationships with print, online and broadcast journalists
- Show you have a finger on the global/local pulse
- Own a wide network of high-profile press relationships: consumer/luxury/lifestyle
- Strong supplier relationships
- Consistently high standards - delivery of work
- At director level, your work should require mínimal intervention/editing from other members of the team
- Natural work ethic, fire in the belly, kind, enthusiastic, consistent demeanour
