**Purpose of the Job**:
The **Senior Learning Solutions Support Manager** is responsible for leading and optimizing the learning solutions support capability, providing expert guidance on learning systems, hardware infrastructure, and reporting tools. This role establishes a strategic learning technology roadmap aligned with business goals and employee development needs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to effectively execute the Learning Solutions Support Strategy while ensuring the continuous updating and maintenance of learning technologies.

**Job Objectives**:
Employee Centric Delivery
- Determine the learning solution support strategy and goals based on Learning Solutions Support (LSD) needs.
- Represent the Learning and Development Team on PAC Projects that has an impact on Learning Technology
- Manage team projects and tasks related to learning technology.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on any risks relating to learning solutions support function.
- Spearhead the resolution of system-related incidents and tasks.
- Identify system updates required for e-learning.
- Approve the documented learning technology landscape requirements.
- Stay abreast with learning technology trends.
- Maintain the Group’s learning technology and e-learning footprint, ensuring that all employees have access to eLearning.
- Support the optimization of e-learning and other learning technologies.
- Conducting analysis for changes and enhancements.
- Submitting quality assurance business requirement documents and functional specifications related to Learning and Development.
- Compile and execute risk mitigation plans to execute the learning solutions roadmap.
- Research and maintain awareness of leading practice in the L&D function.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain feedback and inputs on products, solutions, or technologies in use - particularly end users.
- Maintain Learning Technology Vendor Management and Governance.
- Compile Learning Technology Budget and Forecasting.

People (Self, Team & Organisational)
- Developing and leading the Learning Solutions Support team to deliver solutions and services to the business.
- Managing the enablement of an innovative, agile and employee centric culture where employees are supported, empowered, and valued within the Learning Solutions Support team.
- Managing the enablement of an employee wellness culture within the Learning Solutions Support team to ensure that employees are supported mentally, physically, and emotionally.
- Managing the enablement of a culture of open and transparent communication within the Learning Solutions Support team to ensure that employees are informed of developments timeously.

Financial, Reporting & BI
- Developing and maintaining Learning Solutions Support team budgets and facilitating the necessary costing allocations.
- Providing the first line approval of Learning Solutions Support team expenditure as defined in the delegation of authority ensuring effective cost controls and monitoring mechanisms.
- Maintaining the Learning Solutions Support team cost management while balancing the need for optimal service delivery to employees and operations.
- Driving the collection and use of people data and business intelligence to transform the delivery of Learning Solutions Support team solutions, services, and priorities.

Governance & Compliance
- Ensuring that the Learning Solutions Support team complies with relevant labour relations frameworks and legislation.
- Ensuring compliance to organisational and legislative governance frameworks and standards.
- Implementing Learning Solutions Support governance, structures, policies, processes, procedures, and frameworks.
- Overseeing the identification and mitigation of key Learning Solutions Support strategic and operational risks.

Future-Fit
- Supporting benchmarking of relevant external Learning Solutions Support market trends to ensure that the Shoprite Group remains contemporary in practices, evolving internally as appropriate with technology enablement.
- Ensuring integration and effective flow of work with other People and Operational teams.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in Learning Solutions Support processes to ensure ongoing process efficiency.
- Ensuring the is appropriately structured and resourced to deliver on its mandate with the right people in the right roles with the right capabilities at the right time.

**Qualifications**:
Degree in BSc in Human Resource Development, Computer Science, Systems or equivalent

**Experience**:
+6 years in a Learning Solution Support, or equivalent role, executing a broad range of Learning Solutions crossfunctionally
in a Group construct including the delivery of related, frameworks, policies, procedures, and
guidelines - (essential).
Experience within the FMCG, retail sector or similar - (preferred).

**Knowledge and Skills**:
Demonstrable knowledge of HR and related Learning Solution practices withi
