**Purpose of the Job**:
The purpose of the Senior Manager: Group Change Management role is to provide strategic frameworks and manage the integration and operational execution of comprehensive change management services for enterprise wide and divisional unit specific projects for the Shoprite Group. The role consolidates a long term view of the number of changes initiatives planned within the organisation and determines the impact that various concurrent changes might have on successfully embedding the change. The Senior Manager: Organisational Change achieves success by managing change at an organisational or a divisional level so that maximum benefits are realised, resistance to change is mitigated and there is a faster rate of adoption. The role designs and implements robust change impact assessments that enable business to better understand the required approach to reach adoption. The role also builds change capacity and capability by supporting and guiding leaders and Project Managers through Change Management learning and alignment to frameworks, practices, policies and processes. This role is integral to the internal communications strategy, providing insights to the timing and content of specific communications as determined against appropriate People readiness and change frameworks and planned roadmaps

**Job Objectives**:
Ensuring that the OCM framework and supporting tools are institutionalised in the Shoprite Group.

Ensuring an enterprise view of all OCM initiatives across the organisation, impact of these on employees and associated timing of impacts..

Liaising with the relevant CPO, People Partners, COOs and HO Solutions and Services team to understand the possible impact of the change, recommending the OCM framework and supporting tools to be used to manage the change, determining change saturation risks and proposing alternative deployment timelines to mitigate the risk..

Developing change management plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure buy in as well as to ensure a structured approach is followed to minimise the impact the change may have on the business, employees, customers and other important stakeholders.

Partnering with the COOs, People Partners and Local People Teams and to ensure readiness of the business to adopt the change and manage risks associated with the change across the organisation.

Defining success metrics for OCM activities and monitoring and reporting on these for all identified projects or programmes ensuring that a structured methodology/ process is followed.

Ensuring successful OCM delivery including communication across PAC projects.

Ensuring that tools are in place to track the level of adoption of change.

Providing reporting and other updates to management and project teams.

Developing and leading the Group Organisational Change team to deliver solutions and services to the business.

Driving enablement of an innovative, agile and employee centric culture where employees are supported, empowered and valued within the Group Organisational Change team.

Driving enablement of an employee wellness culture within the Group Organisational Change team to ensure that employees are supported mentally, physically and emotionally.

Driving enablement of a culture of open and transparent communication within the Group Organisational Change team to ensure that employees are informed of developments timeously.

Developing a budget for Group Organisational Change.

Managing the Group Organisational Change costs.

Driving the collection and use of Group Organisational Change data and business intelligence to transform the delivery of Group Organisational Change services and priorities.

Ensuring that the Group Organisational Change solutions and services complies with relevant labour relations frameworks and legislation.

Ensuring compliance to organisational and legislative governance frameworks and standards.

Implementing Group Organisational Change governance structures, policies, processes, procedures and frameworks.

Overseeing identification and mitigation of Group Organisational Change risks.

Ensuring Group Organisational Change is appropriately structured and resourced to deliver on its mandate with the right people in the right roles with the right capabilities at the right time.

Ensuring integration and effective flow of work with other solution areas and business.

Ensuring continuous improvement across the Group Organisational Change value chain.

Overseeing identification of relevant technology requirements to enable a seamless change experience.

**Qualifications**:
Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Dynamics, Change related or equivalent - (essential).

Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Dynamics, Change related or equivalent - (preferred).

**Experience**:
+6 years in a Group Organisational Change Manager or equivalent role, leading Group Organisational Change delivery, frameworks, policies, procedures
