Community and Reproductive Health Nursing Lecturer

Requirements:
Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.

Basic qualifications accredited with South African Nursing Council (SANC) in terms of Government Notice R425 (i.e., Diploma/Degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Registered Nurse and Midwife.

Degree in Nursing.

Diploma/Degree in Nursing Education registered with the SANC.

Master’s Degree in nursing will be an advantage.

Current SANC registration receipt.

Registered with SANC as an assessor / moderator

Minimum of four (4) years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration as Registered Nurse in community health clinics.

Three (3) years appropriate and recognisable experience in nursing education (community and reproductive nursing) after obtaining the one-year post-basic qualification in Nursing Education.

Must be computer literate.

Valid driver’s license and own transport.
