Construction Site Foreman

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Manage site staff, general workers, artisans and subcontractors.
- Ensure that the highest level of quality is maintained at all times
- Ensure that contractors carry out their work as per the specifications and plans issued
- Ensure that health and safety requirements are enforced and maintained
- Ensure that material orders are submitted timeously
- Ensure that the building program is followed and any deviations are reported to the Site Manager as well managed
- Ensure that subcontractors are coordinated and programmed in order to meet the program
- Manage the site in an orderly and efficient way
- Ensure that attention to detail is always maintained

Qualifications:

- Matric

Experience and Knowledge:

- Proven experience in a relevant role in the construction industry and in residential developments
- On-site experience
- Ability to understand plans and programs
- Ability to start site set up and setting out of projects
