Our client a chemical manufacturing company seeks a skilled and experienced Distribution Manager to join their team.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field - Master’s degree advantageous
- HAZCHEM Knowledge / Knowledge of Road Ordinance Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of ERP system process and key system functions related to demand planning, master scheduling and inventory management
- In depth experience running Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
- 10 years’ experience in a Supply Chain environment with exposure to all demand management (DM), master scheduling (MPS), capacity planning (CRP), material planning (MRP) and inventory control. This should include a min of 3 - 5 years’ experience in shipping and logistics. And a min of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Planning and Scheduling
- Translating Africa/International strategies into process requirements
- Integration of International procurement and demand management
- Strategic Sourcing Capability from various places USA, EU etc. for cross-trade purposes
- Knowledge of the Customs and Excise Regulations / Acts / Laws
- Computer Literacy
- Excellent Communication Skills with Advanced Excel
- OHS Knowledge

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- Supply Chain environment: 10 years (required)
- shipping and logistics: 3 years (required)
- Planning and Scheduling: 3 years (preferred)
