We are looking for an enthusiastic **Telemarketer/ Call centre agent **to assist in the sales cycle by calling a database of prospective students gathered from presentations for a Tertiary College to come in for a free consultation with our student advisors. You will be responsible for influencing potential students to join our client's Tertiary Institution.

The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hit Calling targets with respect to engaging with marketing database
- Answer incoming calls from prospective students
- Provide information about the College's features, courses etc. and present their benefits
- Record the customer’s personal information accurately and ensure updated conversations are recorded
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information

Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role is beneficial
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone is beneficial
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in negotiation and dealing with questions and turning no's into yes's
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Be adaptable, dynamic and tenacious and able to handle customer rejection
- At minimum a matric
- Ideally a post matric certificate in the field of call centre, sales or marketing.
- Reliable transport
