Overview:
The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for inspecting all incoming deliveries, loading & unloading trucks, inventory control, packing & shipping customer orders in an accurate and timely manner and execute daily housekeeping. He will have a valid Code 08 driver’s license to do deliveries as well as valid fork lift license.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receives, palletizing and verify the accuracy of incoming materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products and packing.
- Stage product according to picking list for dispatch.
- Sorts and places products in the warehouse according to FIFO.
- Marks materials with identifying and status information.
- Assists to maintain accurate inventory.
- Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jack.
- Assist with stock take.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12
- Supply chain qualification an added advantage
- Certified to operate forklifts.
- Valid Code 10 and PDP driver's license.
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding of warehouse standards and procedures.
- Must have written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to express clearly in English.
- Ability to analyze and solve basic stock and warehouse problems on a basic level.
