Mission

Responsibilities in the preparation of Planning and implementation to the operation in accordance with the laid down standards as set by the Sodexo Southern Africa.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

- The timeous payment of the staff members and accounting for the payments within the set deadline.
- Preparing the monthly returns and paying over the deductions in respect of Workman’s Compensation, PAYE, Medical Aid, Group Life, UIF, Skills Development Levy etc...
- Reviewing the monthly returns and ensuring such are paid timeously in respect of Garnishee Orders, Social Club, Unions, Bargaining Councils etc...
- Preparation of the monthly variation report.
- Preparation of the Tax year end, inclusive of IRP5 and PAYE reconciliations.
- Preparation of the Earnings and Costings report.
- Liaising with the Provident Fund.
- Handling the administration on the death and disability claims.
- Ensuring that the Personnel Files are kept up to date.
- Time & attendance
- Must have a minimum of four years’ experience in payroll administration.
- Must have knowledge of the VIP system.
- Must possess basic accounting skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills (Oral and Written)
- Must have knowledge of the relevant legislation. UIF, Workman’s Compensation etc.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
