We're on the lookout for a vibrant and detail oriented individual to jump aboard our internal Marketing team for an exciting 2-month fixed-term adventure as a Junior Marketing Coordinator As the beating heart of our team, you'll steer the ship through managing thrilling internal marketing projects, orchestrating team tasks in Asana like a maestro, and fostering relationships with our external partners. This gig is your golden ticket to soak up invaluable experience in the marketing realm within a whirlwind of energy and speed. Plus, who knows? Your journey with us might just stretch beyond the horizon based on our internal needs.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Project Management:
▪ Lead and manage assigned internal marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives delivering on time and full.
▪ Break down projects into manageable tasks, create project timelines, and track progress on a regular basis using Asana.
▪ Identify, highlight and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks within projects.
▪ Communicate project updates and status reports to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
2. Traffic Management:
▪ Using Asana to assign tasks, track progress, and manage workload for the internal marketing team.
▪ Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team.
▪ Provide support and guidance to team members as needed.
3. Supplier Management:
▪ Source and manage relationships with external suppliers for marketing materials, services, or events.
▪ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and timelines with suppliers.
▪ Oversee the quality and delivery of materials or services as per agreed terms.
▪ Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly and professionally.
4. Financial Administration:
▪ Manage the financial processes within the team, to ensure that PO’s are raised and approved in a timely manner
▪ Monitoring, tracking and updating the budgetary spend of the marketing team on a regular basis.
5. Communication:
▪ Clear and effective communication across teams, suppliers and stakeholder holders providing regular status updates on tasks and responsibilities.
▪ Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to understand the team’s requirements for marketing initiatives.
6. Additional Duties:
▪ Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in marketing.
▪ Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within the internal marketing processes.
▪ Matric Certificate is essential
▪ Diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management or a related field would be preferred.
▪ Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in project management or traffic management within an agency.
▪ Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
▪ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
▪Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
▪Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
▪ Preferred proficiency in Asana and Microsoft Office Suite.
▪ Experience with supplier management a plus.
▪ Quick learner and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
