Digital Creative Director

**How you**'**ll role**
As the Digital Creative Director, you will provide direction to a skilled team of designers and copywriters, guiding them in creating effective marketing materials across various platforms. Your role involves ensuring that these materials not only catch the eye but also strategically contribute to achieving desired outcomes. You'll handle project traffic efficiently to maintain high standards and meet deadlines, liaise with other departments to align creative efforts with brand objectives, coordinate video production, and balance hands-on work with strategic leadership responsibilities.
**What you**'**ll do**
- Provide creative direction leading a talented team of designers and copywriters to develop high-converting marketing materials across all channels (from social media graphics to landing pages and video ads)
- Ensure creative output is not just eye-catching, but strategically designed to drive results
- Champion the dual imperatives of quality and speed, understanding that in the digital age, rapid iterations and A/B testing are as crucial as the visuals themselves
- Oversee the entire creative process, from ideation to final execution, ensuring both aesthetic excellence and timely delivery
- Lead and inspire the creative team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation
- Manage creative project traffic, ensuring smooth workflows and timely deliveries while maintaining high-quality standards
- Liaise effectively with the marketing and product teams, ensuring alignment of creative output with brand and business objectives
- Coordinate with local videographers, guiding the entire video production process
- Balance the demands of hands-on creative work, such as camera handling, with the strategic leadership responsibilities
- Overseeing campaign launch, optimisation, and budget allocation
- Ensure campaigns run smoothly, meet deadlines, and deliver top-notch performance for clients
**What you**'**ll need**
Creative Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or Senior Design Leader (5+ years)
- Mastery of design principles: a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional visual storytelling, conceptual thinking, and design execution
- Experience with various marketing channels: familiarity with social media, display advertising, landing pages, and other digital marketing assets.
Traffic Management Skills:
- Experience managing and optimising digital marketing campaigns (3+ years)
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics and reporting tools
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and quality
Other relevant qualifications:
- Creative direction and art direction skills
- Creative strategy and branding skills
- Graphic design proficiency
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies
- Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with project management and traffic management
- Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, communications, or related field
- Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with a strong portfolio of past projects and achievements in the field of marketing or design
