**Purpose of the Job**:
To lead the scheduling of multi-discipline maintenance activities across multiple areas by managing and integrating all activities into overall master integrated schedule and complying with established work processes & management systems, company rules, policies, guidelines and statutory requirements to ensure effective & efficient use of available resources and to establish a tracking mechanism that ensures the plant runs at optimum availability and reliability.

**What you’ll have done before**:
Baseline:

- NQF Level 6 (Diploma in Engineering: Mechanical/electrical/Instrumental/Industrial).
- Minimum 4 years’ maintenance experience in planning and scheduling within petrochemical environment.
- Familiar with planning and scheduling software packages (SAP PM, Primavera or others).
- Familiar with office tools (MS Word, MS Excel).

Advantageous:

- Trade test qualification.
- Planning and organizing Skills.
- Communication skills.

**Exciting Challenges you might face in the role**:

- Coordinate maintenance activities within a technical environment.
- Develop detailed work packages from preventive maintenance routine (PMR) findings and corrective maintenance activities for all maintenance teams.
- You lead the scheduling of multi-discipline maintenance activities across multiple areas.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Proactively engaging maintenance and operation teams.
- Having effective communication skill, teamwork enthusiasm and team working.
- Develop and publish weekly schedule as per identified templates.
- Perform resource levelling and leveraging.
- Develop and publish a master integrated schedule as per agreed scheduling occurrences.
- Forecast peak activities and scheduling conflicts.
