**Groblersdal Area - Limpopo**: Our client is looking for an Export Supply Chain Manager to join the team.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferably in Logistics
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within the fruit export and/or import industry.
- Excellent computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with a pallet management system will be an advantage (such as Palbroker/Palltrack, Prophet/QX, and Dipar).
- A highly organized and flexible approach to work, including the ability to prioritize your workload.
- Knowledge of fruit export documentation.
- Self-motivated, result-driven, exceptional attention to detail, and able to take initiative.

***RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Daily stock management, updating, reconciliation, resolving discrepancies, age management, allocations according to market specifications
- Logistics: arrange inspections/labelling/pallet transfers/special inspections (SGS/BIVAC/etc.) according to market specifications
- Forecasting to forwarders, secure shipping opportunities
- Research & communicate shipping opportunities with forwarders & customers
- Booking & shipping instructions to forwarders
- Monitor load-out instructions
- Communicate loading instruction to cold store/forwarder/all relevant persons
- Capture orders for containers with all transactional information
- Manage demand & supply between farm, trader, and customer
- Updating and communicating loading reports to the trader and the customer
- Manage Container Costs and Update costing sheet per container order
- Assist Commercial with invoice verification, if and when required
- Assisting with planning with pre-season preparations including:

- Weekly loading planning
- Packaging material requirements
- Ensuring due diligence process is in place for relevant growers
- Updating and communicating of shipping reports and deviations with customers
- Assisting finance and documentation department with transactional details where required
