Pepkor Speciality has an exciting new opportunity for an **IT** **Systems Manager** within our IT department.

The IT Systems Manager will lead and manage a team of business analysts and be responsible for analyzing, leading and coordinating all cross-functional IT development activities within the Pepkor Speciality brand’s and will be required to work both technically and cross functionally with relevant stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Management and optimization of merchandise and non-merchandise systems through evaluation of current systems, the proposal of enhancements or changes to the system/processes and training and development of users.
- Management of stakeholder relationships and service delivery of internal and external stakeholders
- Recommended and facilitated implementation of new system solutions and/or system enhancement solutions
- Project Management of related IT projects
- User system support: Set-up and maintain users and group security on financial systems.
- Financial Management of opex and capex budgets
- Lead a team of Business analysts and manage all people related outcomes
- Work closely with Users within the various business units to understand the business needs, prioritize delivery with Pepkor IT and manage delivery.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Information Systems or related discipline essential

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- 5 years leadership experience in managing a successful team.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with 3rd party Planning, merchandise (JDA, ERP systems, WMS) and BI systems (Business Objects & Qlikview) in a corporate retailer.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Systems Management environment; managing multiple projects
- Experience in working across several different business units and functions.
- Proven track record of optimization of Business processes.
- Financial Management and experience in the management of budgets
- Extensive Project Management and IT knowledge.
- Knowledge of retail business systems and related processes (IT).
