Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Laser Machine Operator Intern to join their team on a 12 months internship programme. This internship will offer valuable experience and insight into the laser cutting and engraving industry. As a Laser Machine Operator Intern, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser machines to ensure they are performing at optimal levels.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain laser cutting and engraving machines
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine problems as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

**Qualifications**:

- NQF Level 4 Certificate with regards to Laser Cutting and Engraving OR currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing
- Familiarity with laser cutting and engraving machines and software
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R4,000.00 - R6,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Middelburg, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
