Manage drawing office resources to meet customer requirements
- Manage the RFS register and allocation of work to draughts persons
- Manage Drawing Office workflow and planning to meet and exceed OTIF targets
- Ensure that departmental KPI’s are met and exceeded
- Plan all Drawing Office work using MS Projects and scheduling tool/task manager
- Manage drawing office database - G Drive
- Draw up and maintain the work register for all work categories
- Expedite Emergency Work and manage overdue backlog
- Manage the SharePoint document structure to ensure document control compliance
- Assist with document creation and review
- Engage with suppliers and contractors to obtain quotes for relevant Drawing Office operational needs and maintenance
- Manage the Drawing Office SHE functions and related weekly meetings, training and audits
- Manage the Drawing Office QMS
- Engage and represent the department with customers one on one’s, discussions and meetings
- Generate monthly departmental scorecards
- Support continual business improvement and change management
- Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices
- Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
- Support the Standard/Drawing Office Manager in daily functions and operations of the Department

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Matric with N6 Mechanical, Electrical or Administration
- 1 - 2 years related experience in an administrative/office management role
- 1 - 2 years related experience in a planning role
- Knowledge of the OHS Act and Explosive Act
- MS Office proficiency
- MS Projects proficiency
- Knowledge of engineering principles and standards and related functions in terms of maintenance, projects, manufacturing, services and planning)
- Knowledge and understanding of drawings for detail manufacture, 3D models, related checks and record keeping functions of a Drawing Office
- Knowledge of drawings and a drawing office environment will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Autodesk Vault and Microstation will be an advantage
