Site IT Specialist

A Site IT Specialist to be based at client in Pretoria, on a 3 month contract at a rate of between R23000 - R25000pm. **KEY RESPONSIBILITES** - Resolves and/or leads the resolution of complex customer IT support issues for individual customers, small sites or business units - Meets with customers and business units to understand and represent their requirements for IT infrastructure products and services - Coordinates feedback to IT product and service owners on customer issues - Responsible for desk side service support as well as team members in this area - Sufficient In depth understanding of network and Windows server environment - Coordinate manufacturing IT systems issues between various IT groups, both local and global - Act as interface between senior IT management and business representatives - The "face of IT" for all IT server and some Manufacturing related roles and responsibilities - Perform junior management activities and is responsible for management and leadership of local IT team members **Unique Factors (e.g. frequent travel, shifts, etc)** - Local travel required **Relevant Qualification & Experience required** - Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Relevant certifications will be advantageous (CCNA, MCSE, A+) - Experience: 4 to 5 years with increasing responsibilities in the area of server support user support, with experience in day-to-day operations, customer service, and/or problem resolution. - IT support in Manufacturing arena will be advantageous **Top Functional/Technical Competencies required** - Day-to-Day Operations of the IT facility and supporting systems - Hardware support - Infrastructure Architecture - Networks, Cisco - Operating Systems - Security & Controls - Application support - Data centre operations **Top four Personal/Leadership Competencies required** - Know and have a passion - for business and customers - Have a continuous improvement philosophy and practice, with focus on quality - Have a can do, find a way -attitude and emotional resilience - Make sound decisions -using facts and data **Top four Professional/Organizational Competencies required** - Builds and maintains strong relationships with appropriate customer base - Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal IT partners - Communicate clearly -concisely and candidly - Reconciles issues across support teams Term and Remuneration - 3-Month Contract with possible extension - Salary rate of R23000 to R25000pm **Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary Contract length: 3 months **Salary**: R23 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
