**Job Advert Summary**:
Our client, a leader in the private healthcare industry, is urgently looking for **Enrolled Nurses (EN) **with proven **THEATRE experience**.** **This is a **permanent opportunity** at a private hospital in** Bellville **in** Cape Town Northern Suburbs.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Registered with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse
- At least 1-year working experience in a **Theatre** environment is essential
- For specialised wards, CPD courses in specific speciality area
- Sound knowledge of Scientific Nursing Process, nursing activities and procedures as per Scope of Practice
- Ability to identify, prevent and report medico-legal risks and adverse events within the unit
- Basic knowledge of stock control principles
- Displays a team approach by participating actively and cooperatively with team members.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Relevant nursing legislation
- Nursing care plan skills

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**
To deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice
**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**
- Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
- Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety
- Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment
- Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
- Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence
- Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged
