**ROLE**:Food and Safety Systems Manager
**LOCATION**:Pinetown, KZN
**REPORTING TO**: Regional Director
**SALARY**:Market related basic of R45 - 50 000.00 plus benefits

**Our client, a market leader in the FMCG/Manufacturing sector, has an opportunity for a Food and Safety Systems Manager to join their Food and Safety Systems Team, based at the Regional**
**Head Office in Pinetown. The successful person will be responsible for managing the Food**
**Safety and ISO systems for the region.**

JOB PURPOSE

To assume responsibility for ensuring Food Safety and Systems standards are upheld and customer satisfaction is guaranteed through efficient management of the Food Safety and
Systems portfolio, with a key focus on Food Safety Systems, and People Management. The ideal person will be Energetic, Driven, Self-Managed and an excellent communicator.

This is a mid-management position with scope to grow in time and take on more of the SHEQ scope for the region.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement, review, ensure compliance to and maintenance of all Food Safety and ISO systems and procedures in the region
- Develop and execute an internal Food Safety and ISO audit program
- Actively implement continuous improvement projects
- Ensure Food Safety and ISO assurance with regards to raw materials and final products
- Manage external Food Safety and ISO audits and compliance
- Assemble, analyses and report Food Safety and ISO statistics and trends and make recommendations
- Manage the MRM, DRM process
- Develop and carry out Food Safety and ISO training and education programs
- Establish and manage Food Safety and ISO budget

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Three plus years Food Safety and/or ISO Management experience
- Experience managing a team in a Food Safe and FMCG environment
- **Minimum of a Degree (additional Food Safety or ISO certificates advantageous)**:

- Advanced excel
- Operational quality exposure in current or previous role
