To conduct analysis to evaluate risk in accordance with the overall risk strategy and make recommendations to reduce or control risk thereby ensuring the bank is protected against operational or financial loss

The Risk Assurance Risk Officer role exists to assist in the overall role out of the Risk Assurance function within PPS.

The Risk Assurance Risk Officer will be responsible to assist with assurance meeting administration, data analysis and conducting of assurance reviews.

Are you someone who can:

- Data Analysis and Tracking of Issues and Issue trends within PPS (Audit Findings, Compliance Issues, Self-Disclosed Issues)
- Assistance with the tracking, quality review and upload of external audit findings to Archer
- Assist the Risk Assurance Manager with thematic assurance reviews within the Segment
- Assist in the formulation of Risk Assurance Reports for presentation at PPS Risk and Audit Committees
- Assist in the administration and tracking of PPS Top Risk and Key Control Assurance coverage
- Collect and analyse the risk and control information to ensure that the bank is adequately protected against operational or financial loss.
- Contribute to teamwork and inclusivity within own team.
- Identify and utilise opportunities to assess and improve own performance.
- Report on transactional and process activities within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making.
- Ensure operational excellence through the delivery of work processes according to defined quality standards.
- Comply with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements and adhere to processes and procedures related to area of specialisation
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards.
- Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilisation of work related resources.
