Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Security Officer based in Pretoria.

**Requirements**:

- NQF level 4 or Grade 12 qualification and a Grade C certification and registered with PSIRA and certified.
- Clear criminal record.
- Strong surveillance and observation skills.
- Fluent communication skills.
- The ability to stay calm under pressure.
- The ability to exercise good judgement.
- Knowledge of public safety, security operations and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all persons entering the property are authorized to do so.
- Record and report all unusual incidents and report immediately to the facilities manager if necessary.
- Report all criminal incidents to the manager.
- Patrol the building interior and exterior at regular intervals.
- Ensure that all equipment that is required for security duties is in good working order.
- Ensure that all doors and windows are secured, and any abnormalities are recorded and reported.
- Monitor and respond to technical security alarms.
- Maintain good working relations with local law enforcement agencies.
- Ensure that security equipment is safeguarded.
- Ensure that security standards and procedures are adhered to.
