**eCommerce Manager**
**Main Purpose of the Role**:
- This role leads eCommerce delivery and execution of ‘Go-To-Market strategy for South Africa and wider SSA region. This position integrates cross functions in the market for eCommerce delivery. This role is also the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) in South Africa for the eCommerce team and champions voice-of-the-customer and the market.
- Execute eCommerce in the market to deliver brand or business outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional integration and execute eCommerce ‘Go-To Market’ plans.
- Work with local IT, Technology service providers, internal divisions and Marketing division to support system integrations required for eCommerce execution in South Africa.
- Work with marketing division to plan & execute local media campaigns to drive traffic and business outcomes.
- Represents eCommerce in Management reviews and meetings.
- Identify specific support & customizations required to enhance market’s adoption of eCommerce.
- Support Market Representation (or Dealer Development) / Sales team in engaging Divisions and Branches for eCommerce.
- Provide market inputs to the Central team for eCommerce evolution and development.
- Ensuring all e-commerce platforms run smoothly.
- The maintenance, development and introduction of e-commerce innovations and features for improvement of product promotions, product development, sales and the end user experience.
**FUNCTIONAL AREA**:IT
**Reports to**:Head of IT/GM Marketing / dotted line: GM Marketing/Head of IT
**Internal Team Interaction**:(Information, support, advice): Within own division and across organisation: exchange of information, advice, support, persuasion, negotiation
**External Team Interaction**:(information, support, advice, persuasion/ negotiation): Ability to manage external service providers across the entire ICT, Marketing, B2C Landscape.
- Supplier, Vendor Management. Advise on technical requirements and ability to review and align with the Service Providers Solutions. Strong relationship management skills to engage with the various service providers to ensure all eCommerce services are maintained to the highest level.

**2. eCommerce **Planning**
- Define, plan & ensure the execution of e-merchandising activities through cross-sell, up-sell & eCRM strategies
- Optimum working environment
**3. Product Management**
- Manage new product uploads, category builds, product detail maintenance
- Stock records accurate
**4. Coordination & Implementation**
- Catalogue Management
- Management of product portfolio, category and brand pages
- Link products for cross sell-out on Ecommerce site
- Monitor and improve catalogue with weekly reporting on product performance
- Provide remedial action for nonperforming products
- Ensure correct SEO practices are followed
- Perform organic keyword research to improve visibility of ecommerce listings
- Liaise with Operations, development and supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock is available and aligned with existing banners, promotions and marketing campaigns
- Liaise with design and development team to update images, product content and description for online listings - upload products onto the website. Online Merchandising
- Work with development team to ensure SEO, tagging, imagery and marketing channels are aligned across ecommerce platforms
- Provide ultimate customer journey through effective merchandising, category creation and accuracy of listings online.

- Monthly social media brand, website and customer survey reporting
- Innovate, introduce and develop offerings across all ecommerce platforms to improve customer acquisition
**5. Data Analysis**
- Leverage (internal and external) data, insights and recommendations to continuously improve e-Com activities
**6. Data Analysis Project Support**
- Support other departments in implementing projects with a digital dimension.

Minimum Qualifications to Perform Role:
- Matric
- Higher Certificate/Advance Diploma/Degree/B Com Management or Relevant Qualification
- Work Experience 6+ of experience working in one or more of these areas; **Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Development or Customer experience**.
