**Reporting to**: Registrar

**Purpose**:
To support the Registrar in managing student misconduct processes including
academic misconduct, general misconduct and contravention of policies.
To support the Registrar in managing the processes associated with academic
appeals.
To assist the Registrar in maintaining up-to-date policies relating to student conduct.
To investigate and resolve all complaints regarding the Institution which could tarnish the brand such as social media posts or HelloPeter posts.
To support the Registrar in conducting internal admission criteria compliance audits.

**Requirements**:
A Postgraduate qualification
At least two years’ experience within the disciplinary process field including investigative work, case presentation, chairing of disciplinary inquiries and sanctioning.
Experience in the writing of policies will be advantageous
Proven experience in academic integrity processes to guard against academic misconduct such as plagiarism and exam cheating.

**Duties**:
Review and amend policies and procedures relating to student conduct regularly.
Identify assessment plagiarism or transgression and manage the Institute's response to plagiarism and assessment transgression.
Inform students on appeal processes, complaints, disciplinary procedures, and plagiarism prevention.
Facilitate student appeals, complaints and disciplinary processes under the direction of the Registrar.
Promote best practices across the Institute in the handling of student
complaints and appeals.
Keep staff members up to date regarding student misconduct processes.
Provide statistical and analytical information relating to assessment plagiarism, student appeals and complaints.
Maintain accurate records on the student database relating to assessment
plagiarism, student appeals and complaints.
Review and implement ways to improve the student experience as relating to all inquiry processes.
Conduct compliance audits on new student registrations and student information on the learning management system
