Head - Workshops
**Requirements**:

- A BTech or Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Road Transport Management (Advantageous)
- 5 - 8 years’ experience in managing a workshop
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including the OHS act,

regulations and policies,
- Experience in budgeting (CAPEX &OPEX) and cost control
- A valid code EB drivers’ licence.

Key Performance Areas
- Co-ordinates and manage the effective utilization of

Mechanical workshops
- Manage the provision of workshop services and administration
- Manage the workshops capital budget
- Compile and manage the fleet operating budget
- Manage Service Level Agreements and ensure the provision

of a reliable and efficient service
- Manage and control the optimisation of the workshop
- Managing tasks/activities associated with tyre

management
- Manage the provision of Workshop HR Administration
- Ensure statutory compliance of workshop operations
- Ensure technical management of the workshop
- Managing specific maintenance, audits and inspections.
