**Service Technician - Measurement Analytics**:

You will be working as Service Technician - Measurement Analytics, at global grade 14 and will be the part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics Division based in Longmeadow, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Local Division Manager and will be responsible to execute medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. In close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Service delivery: Perform medium to high complex Service tasks like installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits, repair independently, identify technical problems and make analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, extensions, replacements, upgrades and retrofit, end of life service etc.).
- Customer Approach: Ensure customer satisfaction by execute Service work according to customer order and expectation, create and maintain a good relationship with customers and understand their need and identify new sales opportunities and take influence in convince the client for the complete service portfolio.
- Materials and Supply: Coordinate, prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities, prepare standard lists for ease of work.
- Documentation and reports: Prepare all documents and report to be signed by the customer representative, report work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed. Create standard or job durations. Troubleshooting: Proactively identify potential equipment failures and proactive corrective action, troubleshoot complex equipment failure and make recommendation to avoid repeat the problem in the future.
- Operational Excellence: Proactively identify suggestion for product, quality, customer service improvement and discuss them with management for change. Health, Safety and Integrity: Actively ensure that HSE practice of high standard and work to eliminate unsafe practice and incident.

**Your background**:

- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Process Instrumentation), Btech Degree is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in instrumentation, experience in fault finding and experience in attending to breakdowns. Experience in field instrumentation and Analytical solutions is crucial.
- Able to work under pressure. Beneficial on SAP. Driver’s license and computer literate and willing to travel across the African continent.
- Excellent command of English language.
