Support Mailroom Administrator with Staff Shop & general mail
- Support mailroom with driving when required to do collections & deliveries.
- Ensure stock levels, proper storage of goods is met in conjunction with unit man agement.
- Responsible for daily issuing of cleaning materials and working closely with the cleaning staff.
- Support administration i.e. recording of issue sheets, weekly stock takes, receiving weekly invoices, raising weekly/monthly PO’s for stock needed.
- Responsible for the efficient control and handling of goods in the store rooms.
- Support goods receiving procedure i.e. goods purchased by approved suppliers, goods purchased must be a listed and approved product, checking goods against invoices, checking quality of goods, checking prices according to purchasing manual, goods marked with date.
- Ensure proper goods storing procedure i.e. stock stored at correct temperature, all stock stored off the floor, all stock is appropriately covered, stock is being rotated, stock is used by ‘use by date’.

- To maintain a high standard of morale and motivation through good communication
- Ensure correct use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Check Equipment once checked out & checked in to store room.
- Ensure health and safety standards, hygiene standards and quality standards are met in conjunction with unit management KPI’s.
- Ensure all PPE and gowning procedure for all Medical devises facilities is worn at all times according to Sodexo PPE matrix and J
- To ensure that you are wearing the correct uniform and the correct PPE at all times including a hat, hairnet at all times.

To ensure that none of the staff are wearing jewellery (only small studs) or makeup.
- To carry out any other duties or work outside the normal daily routine but within the overall scope of the position.
- Ensure that all the cleaning and maintenance requirements of all distribution centres, warehouses, or toolkit areas and production plants are met-- Ensure that the Hazardous and Non Hazardous waste is removed and dealt with ac cording to
- To ensure that all site rules are adhered to by all staff as per client SOP
- To support Supervisor & Manager that all MSDS are followed when approved chemicals are used as perTo ensure that access to Warehouse and Repack are adhered to accordingTo ensure that all water coolers are cleaned as per
- To ensure that all aspects of the contract are fulfilled according to
- To relief in other Sodexo units when required.To carry out any other duties or work outside the normal daily routine but within the overall scope of the position.
- To ensure that regular inspections are conducted as per schedules drafted in con junction with management.
- Conduct SMS (Site Management Systems) inspections on a daily basis, ensuring that any faults are recoded on SMS and logged on the Helpdesk to be actioned.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is inspected and cleaned before end of shift
- Matric/Grade 12
- 5 years of related technical/operational experience.
- Must have good problem solving skills.
- Good Communication skills
- Facilities Management Qualification or similar from a registered reputable organiza tion.
- Additional related maintenance and management training prefer
- Exposure to Project Management or Property Management.
- Knowledge in all aspects of Health and Safety.
- At least five or more years of supervisory experience.
- Must have three (3) years’ experience in managing of various services within the facilities management framework.
- Must have experience in a multidiscipline operational background i.e. blue and white collar environment.
- Must have good financial management acumen.
- Good leadership and managing skills - experience in working in highly unionized en vironment.

Experience in managing multiple diverse sites.

Report to - Facilities Manager
