We are looking for Global Sustainability Coordinator to join Dentons and contribute to the growth of our Global ESG team and initiatives across the firm. **We are offering an 18-month temporary replacement contract**

**Responsibilities**:

- Take a coordination role in conducting sustainability disclosures and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining a strategic plan for the organization's sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinating with other departments in the company to ensure successful implementation of sustainability initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining databases to track progress towards sustainability goals and objectives.
- Communicating with stakeholders about sustainability issues and initiatives.
- Conducting research on industry best practices in sustainability to help improve the organization's environmental performance.
- Supporting the development of new products, services, and facilities that meet environmental standards while addressing customer needs.
- Reviewing facility operations and providing recommendations for improving efficiency and reducing waste.
- Developing policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote sustainability within the organization's operations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, climate data, sustainability, or a related field.
- 2+ years of industry experience working with carbon accounting, GHG inventories, and/or sustainability consulting.
- Demonstrated experience in using GHG Inventory protocols and standards.
- Strong quantitative or technical background with excellent analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective internal and external communication.
- Ability to work independently, self-driven, and trustworthy in a remote work environment
