**The role will**
- Actively be involved on the debtors follow-up activity in each store ensuring that collections and bad and doubtful debts are managed within norms laid down by the company.
- Ensure written-off/starred accounts are monitored and actioned where possible
- Spend at least 95% of the time in stores. To visit each store at least twice per month on rotation, first visit 3 days and second visit 2 days and to complete a RAM inspection Report each month.
- Undertake 10 personal follow up actions on each visit to a store with special emphasis on NAD accounts, oldest date last paid as well as 10 accounts on the Bad Debt list in the same order.
- Provide assistance with the implementation of garnishee orders and speedy action of administrative orders.
- Personally deliver summons issued by the Legal Department at Head Office, to the Sheriffs of the Court without delay
- Action and finalize personal calls on behalf of the Lewis Financial Services (Branch 7100) and advise them accordingly within 14 days of receipt of such requests
- Action all trace accounts and clear all insurance claims.
- Ensure each store has monthly collection, bad debt, arrears reduction, customer activation and repossession targets and action plan to achieve these targets.
- Reduce doubtful debts by 50% and bad debts by 60% from opening to closing for each month.

**Requirements**:

- A valid driver’s license.
- A Matric/Grade 12 educational qualification.
- Business related tertiary qualification would be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years Retail Management Experience preferably in the furniture retail.
- Computer Literate.
- Strong Leadership abilities
- Management abilities - Manage, lead, motivate, develop and empower branch staff

The position requires an individual that is self-confident, assertive, self-motivated, work flextime and good team player.
