Brief overview of job functions
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in the construction and installation of new broadband infrastructure, OSP/ISP civils and Fibre, to ensure requirements and objectives are met
- Provide expert technical into solution design on projects or problem solving in the domain of broadband infrastructure build
- Act as the technical team lead when required to drive solution implementation and/or problem resolution in the domain of broadband infrastructure build
- Provide technical expertise to advise and guide on final acceptance of new installations of telecoms broadband infrastructure build
- Provide ongoing operational support and supervision of the TBS infrastructure build team/area to ensure effective and efficient operations and adherence to SOPs, policies and guidelines
- Provide operational support to ensure that adequate documentation and reporting is maintained as per business requirements and in line with SOPs
- Identify and raise risks impacting effectiveness of operations within the broadband infrastructure build domain; liaise with risk management team to record risk in the risk register
- Ensure that assets under the control and supervision of the broadband infrastructure build functional area are adequately managed as per the relevant asset management guidelines/SOP
- Ensure that Health & Safety rules and regulations are followed by the build team
- Ensures that all stock equipment required on a specific project is issued with approved documentation

Qualifications Required
- National Diploma or relevant 3-year Industry Certification (NQF 6) with 3 years’ relevant experience

- 5 years’ relevant experience in the Fibre network industry specializing with Fibre and civils
