**Retail Cashier**

A prominent retail store located in the bustling shopping district of Canal Walk, Cape Town, is in search of a friendly and efficient Retail Cashier to become a part of our dynamic team. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for customer service and a flair for handling transactions smoothly and efficiently.

**Location**: Canal Walk, Cape Town

**Salary Range**: R5500 to R10000

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Collect payments and provide change as necessary.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Greet customers as they enter or leave the store.
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer complaints, guiding them, and providing relevant information.
- Bag, box, or wrap packages carefully and efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Proven working experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role.
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash register, scanners, money counters, etc.).
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Customer satisfaction-oriented.
- Attention to detail and mathematical skills.
- Sales skills.
- High school degree.
